The Gumtree Theatre was the puppet theatre of Hanna-Barbera Land: a large tree figure that opened to reveal the puppet show stage, where puppet performances for children were presented. In 1985 the theatre was sponsored by Woolworths Supermarkets. The land’s other venue, the Hanna-Barbera Theatre, staged the costumed character shows.
