Goldrush was Australia’s tribute to the pioneer goldrush days. The themed area drew on the country’s gold-mining heritage, with stockmen, drovers, and the legends of Ned Kelly and the Tasmanian Devil. It was home to some of Wonderland’s most iconic rides, including The Bush Beast – the tallest wooden roller coaster in the Southern Hemisphere at its 1985 opening.
