The Gold Nugget Theatre was Goldrush‘s live entertainment venue. When the park opened in December 1985 it was the home of Solid Gold, a daily song and dance production supported by East-West Airlines, one of the live shows included in the park’s pay one price admission.
The theatre went on to stage the park’s production shows. Brand New Beat, the fourth production show in the park’s fourth year, gave its final performance there in July 1989. Other shows and events staged at Wonderland over the years are listed in the Shows section.
