Hanna-Barbera Land was one of Wonderland’s three original themed areas, featuring rides and attractions based on the characters of Hanna-Barbera animation – Yogi Bear, Scooby-Doo, Fred Flintstone, Magilla Gorilla, Huckleberry Hound and friends. In 2001 the area was rebranded as Little Wonders Land and was permanently closed in 2002 when the park reduced its operational footprint.

Bam Bam’s Ball Bounce
A children’s ride themed around Bam Bam Rubble from The Flintstones.
The Beastie
Half the size and height of The Bush Beast, The Beastie was a wooden roller coaster designed for younger riders. The Beastie was located in Hanna-Barbera Land and was originally to be named the Scooby-Doo Coaster.
Boo Boo’s Balloon Race
A balloon-themed children’s ride in Hanna-Barbera Land, named after Yogi Bear’s sidekick Boo Boo.
Captain Caveman’s Clippers
Opened in 1987 in Hanna-Barbera Land. The two-seater ‘flying boats’ later moved to Transylvania and were renamed Galleon’s Graveyard.
Dick Dastardly’s Flying Circus
A 1985 children’s ride with miniature World War I fighter planes themed after Dick Dastardly. Later renamed Little Monsters Flying School after relocation to Transylvania.
Dino’s Derby
Ride was re-opened in Old Botany Bay in 2002 and known as “Baby Bumpers”
Fred Flintstone’s Splashdown
A log flume ride added in 1994, replacing the earlier Old McScrappy’s Golfing Farm putting course.
Huckleberry Hound’s Merry-go-Round
The ride closed in 2002 and was relocated to Old Botany Bay and became known simply as the Carosuel
Judy’s Jetliners
Judy’s Jetliners was a small ride located at the far end of Hanna Barbera Land. The ride was opened in 1985 as one of the original of the park, however it was removed in 1995, to make way for some extentions to the Australian Wildlife…
Magilla Gorilla’s Flotilla
A small lake with paddle boats themed around Magilla Gorilla. Closed in 1990 to make way for the Australian Wildlife Park.
Scooby’s Silly Stix
Themed around Scooby-Doo. Opened in 1985 and removed in 2000.
