Australia’s Wonderland held a Country Music Festival on weekends from 5 August to 10 September 1995. The poster below advertised it as a celebration of the opening of the Outback Woolshed and the new Goldrush, both introduced that year.
The headline acts were James Blundell, Lee Kernaghan, Gina Jeffreys and Colin Buchanan. Also advertised were Anne Kirkpatrick, Troy Cassar-Daley, Tania Kernaghan, The Bushwackers, Bourkenbacks, Clint Beattie, Fargone Beauties, The Wheel and the Eureka Bushband, with 16 more country music performers.
The festival returned as Countryfest in the following two years: see the Country Fest 1996 and Countryfest 1997 pages.
