Dancing in the Streets

Dancing in the Streets was one of the production shows staged at the Gold Nugget Theatre in Goldrush. A photo on the Staff page shows the entire Show and Entertainment Department, cast and crew, on the Dancing in the Streets stage in 1986. The East-West Airlines banner over the stage can be seen in several of the photos below, which were shared in the Wonderland History Facebook group by people who performed in and worked on the park’s shows.

I was one of the Audio Techs that ran the sound in both Gold Nugget and HB Theatres in the earlier days of the park. Married one of the D.I.T.S. Dancers (Nicky Willmott) 23 years ago. We live Queensland and have 2 wonderful kids. Our 19 y/o daughter Courtney lives in Sydney and has Scott Archer (also from D.I.T.S.) as her singing teacher. What a small world.
