Tunnel and Tower Videos

These are the videos that played to riders in the Space Probe 7 queue tunnels and at the top of the tower. The queue line video, in five parts, features Channel 7 news personalities reporting the alien invasion story that the ride was built around. The tower video ran while riders sat at the top waiting to drop, and ends with the countdown. All of them were copied from an old VHS tape, so the sound is poor. The queue audio as it was reworked for the Utopia dance parties is on the Space Probe Audio page.

The audio at Utopia

The audio from the original Channel 7 clips that were shown in the Space Probe tunnels was slightly reworked for the Utopia dance parties held at Wonderland between September 2000 and New Year’s Eve 2002 (which of the three parties is not recorded). The reworked recording, Space Probe Utopia Final, is on the Space Probe Audio page, and the parties themselves are covered on the Utopia page.
