Wonderla Holidays bought the former Demon and rebuilt it at Wonderla Amusement Park Hyderabad in Telangana, India. It opened there as Recoil on 7 April 2016, the day the park opened, and Wonderla promotes it as India’s first reverse looping roller coaster.
In 2018 the original Arrow Dynamics train, which had run in Brisbane, Sydney and Alabama, was replaced with a Sunkid Heege SCT1200 train. The new train seats 28 in seven cars with individual lap bars, and was built for riders without shoes and for the local heat.
Recoil is still operating in 2026. Wonderla also has coasters called Recoil at its Bengaluru and Kochi parks; the former Demon is the one at Hyderabad.
